How? Why is this possible now and never before?
- A state-of-the-art technology has been licensed to The Mineseeker Foundation.
- This unique technology is a radar system that uses sensors to detect the location of landmines. It was originally developed for UK defense programs and Mineseeker now has permission to use this British MOD technology for humanitarian demining.
- The system, supported by the UN, has been tested in live conditions in Kosovo and received 100% approvals from the UN under the factual spotlight of a BBC documentary.
- This technology scans the ground at the rate of 100 square meters per second and Mineseeker estimates it can find and eliminate all of the world's current land mines within 10-15 years (vs. the estimated 500 years it would take to use existing technologies which have proven to be costly and dangerous).
- Why is this project so vital and generating the focus of prominant humanitarians and world leaders? Why are field organizations allying together for this one cause?
- What are we planning?
- Why Mozambique?
- How? Why is this possible now and never before?
- Why are the world's most prominent humanitarians, business leaders, and charity organizations joining together specifically for this cause?
- Where next?
