'As a Patron of the Mineseeker Foundation and on behalf of my country, I would firstly like to express my gratitude to our fellow Patrons and all of those who are associated with Mineseeker for taking the initiative in selecting Mozambique as the first country to participate in the launch of this unique landmine technology and the "Sole of Africa Campaign.'

Mozambique, like so many countries across the world, still lays victim to the plague of landmines that not only cripples our economy, but literally its people as well. It is for this reason that we welcome and endorse the opportunity to be involved in a project that has the ability to greatly accelerate landmine removal, and just as importantly, also return vast sectors of our land back to agriculture.

We further commend the induction of the 'Sole of Africa Campaign' in our country and perceive this concept to be a bold step forward that not only focuses on the removal of landmines but initiates and addresses the further development of agricultural, economic and self-sustainable growth in Mozambique.

In recognition of the thousands of people across the world that have lost lives and limbs to landmines, my husband and I are honored to be associated with the 'Sole of Africa' and invite you to 'Put Your Foot Down' with us as we take this essential step toward the complete removal of landmines across the world. For many African people, returning the land for crop production means returning their dignity. Please ’Put Your Foot Down’ with us.'
